First International Symposium “Digitalization and its Impact on Human Health.”

University Geomedi hosted its first international symposium "Digitalization and its impact on human health" in the conference room of the hotel "Courtyard Marriott" Tbilisi, Georgia on April 12, 2019. The Rector of the University Geomedi, Professor Marina Pirtskhalava opened the symposium and welcomed guests in her opening speech. The keynote speakers at the symposium were the Chair of the Education, Science, and Culture Committee Mrs. Mariam Jashi, the director of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation Mr. Zviad Gabisonia, President of the Steinbais University (Germany) Professor Giorgi Khubua, and professor of Bamberg University (Germany) Dr. Claus Christian Carbon. The symposium was dedicated to the topic of digital technologies and their impact on human health. Professors from University Geomedi, Steinbeis University (Germany), Bamberg University (Germany) presented their scientific works at the symposium. The language of conduct at the symposium was English.

2nd International Symposium “Digitalization and its Impact on Human Health.”

University Geomedi’s Second international Symposium “Digitalization and its Impact on Human Health.” was held at the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel on November 15, 2019. The symposium was officially opened by the Rector of University Geomedi, Professor Marina Pirtskhalava, followed by welcome speeches by Director of The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, Mr. Zviad Gabisonia and the President of Steinbeis University (Berlin), Professor George Khubua. The keynote speaker of the symposium was Professor of Dachau Cancer Center at the Steinbeis University Berlin, Dirk Hampel, who presented his scientific findings: “Molecular Precision In Oncology in regards with digital technologies”. Professors from University Geomedi also delivered the presentations on the topic of digitalization and its impact on human health. The language of conduct at the symposium was English.
